South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) If the storage
rent and other charges and expenses incurred in respect of any explosives
deposited in a Government magazine are not paid within twelve months after the
explosives are so deposited, or within one month after demand is made for
payment thereof by the Director, the Director may from time to time cause the
explosives, or so much thereof as may appear to be necessary to satisfy all
such rent, charges, and expenses, to be sold by public tender.
(2) A call for public
tender under subsection (1) of this section shall be advertised three
times in a newspaper circulating generally throughout the State.
(3) The proceeds of
any such sale shall be applied first to the payment of the said storage rent,
charges, and expenses, and the surplus (if any) shall be paid to the person
who deposited the explosives.
