If any officer authorised or required by this Act to furnish any certified
copy or extract shall wilfully certify any document as being a true copy or
extract, knowing that the same is not a true copy or extract, as the case may
be, he shall be guilty of an offence, and be liable, on conviction, to
imprisonment for any term not less than eighteen months or more than three
years.
