DOG AND CAT MANAGEMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 64E
The operator of a facility at which a dog or cat has been detained under this
Part may recover the charges that are payable under the regulations in
relation to the seizure, detention or destruction of the dog or cat from a
person who owns or is responsible for the control of the dog or cat as a debt
in a court of competent jurisdiction whether or not the dog or cat has been
returned to the person.
