DRUGS ACT 1908 - SECT 24

24—Protection from offences by giving of label

Provided that no person shall be guilty of any such offence under sections 22 and 23 if at the time of delivering the drug he shall supply to the person receiving the same a notice, by a label distinctly and legibly written or printed on or with the drug, to the effect that the same is mixed, and stating the substances and quantities thereof in such mixture.

Such label shall not be deemed to be distinctly and legibly written or printed within the meaning of this section unless it is so written or printed that the notice of mixture given by the label is not obscured, either wholly or in part, by other matter on the label; nor shall a printed announcement on the wrapper be deemed a label within the meaning of this section.
