South Australian Consolidated Acts11—Penalty for fraud, undue influence etc
(1) A person who, by
dishonesty or undue influence, induces another to execute a medical power of
attorney is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 10 years.
(3) A person who
purports to act as a medical agent under a medical power of attorney knowing
that the power of attorney has been revoked is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 10 years.
(3) A person convicted
or found guilty of an offence against this section forfeits any interest that
that person might otherwise have had in the estate of the grantor of the power
of attorney.
