CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT 1984 - SECT 56
(1) The Minister may
issue a permit authorising, subject to such conditions as may be specified in
the permit, the person named in the permit to manufacture, cultivate, sell,
supply, administer or have in his or her possession a substance or
medical device for the purposes of analysis, research, instruction or
training.
(2) Despite any other
provision of this Act, the holder of a permit issued under this section is not
guilty of an offence against this Act in respect of anything done pursuant to
and in accordance with the permit.
