South Australian Consolidated Acts27—Functions and powers conferred on Commonwealth officers and
authorities
(1) A Commonwealth law
applying because of section 25 that confers on a Commonwealth officer or
authority a function or power in relation to an offence against the Trade
Practices Act also confers on the officer or authority the same function or
power in relation to an offence against the corresponding provision of the
Competition Code of this jurisdiction.
(2) A Commonwealth law
applying because of section 26 that confers on a Commonwealth officer or
authority a function or power in relation to an offence against the Trade
Practices Act also confers on the officer or authority the same function or
power in relation to an offence against the corresponding provision of the
Competition Code of another participating jurisdiction.
(3) The function or
power referred to in subsection (2) may only be performed or exercised in
this jurisdiction.
(4) In performing a
function or exercising a power conferred by subsection (1) or (2), the
Commonwealth officer or authority must act as nearly as practicable as the
officer or authority would act in performing or exercising the same function
or power in relation to an offence against the corresponding provision of the
Trade Practices Act.
