South Australian Consolidated ActsIf the Court is of the opinion in any proceedings on an application for an
investigation and assessment order, a care and protection order or an order
under Part 8 to transfer a child protection order or a child protection
proceeding that it should make an order binding on a person who is not a party
to the proceedings, the Court—
(a) may
join that person as a party to the proceedings; and
(b) must
allow him or her a reasonable opportunity to make representations to the Court
as to why such an order should not be made.
