South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Three members of
the Board shall constitute a quorum of the Board, and no business shall be
transacted at a meeting unless a quorum is present.
(2) A decision carried
by a majority of the votes cast by the members present at a meeting of the
Board, shall be a decision of the Board.
(3) The member
appointed to chair the Board will preside at meetings of the Board at which
that member is present.
(4) If the member
appointed to chair the Board is absent from a meeting of the Board, a member
chosen by the members present at the meeting will preside at the meeting.
(4a) The member
presiding at a meeting of the Board will, in the event of an equality of
votes, have a second or casting vote.
(5) Subject to this
Act, the business of the Board shall be conducted in such manner as the Board
determines.
