South Australian Consolidated Acts12—Classification of theatrical performances
(1) Where the Board is
satisfied that the nature of a theatrical performance is such that children
might properly attend the performance, it may classify the performance as an
unrestricted theatrical performance.
(2) Where the Board is
satisfied that a theatrical performance is—
(a)
likely to cause offence to reasonable adult persons; or
(b)
unsuitable for the attendance of children,
it shall, subject to subsection (3) of this section, classify the
performance as a restricted theatrical performance.
(3) Where the Board is
satisfied that a theatrical performance is likely to cause serious offence to
reasonable adult persons, it may refrain from assigning a classification to
the performance.
