A person who—
(a)
produces, or takes any step in the production of, child pornography knowing of
its pornographic nature; or
(b)
disseminates, or takes any step in the dissemination of, child pornography
knowing of its pornographic nature,
is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty:
(a) for
a basic offence—imprisonment for 10 years;
(b) for
an aggravated offence—imprisonment for 12 years.
