CRIMINAL LAW CONSOLIDATION ACT 1935 - SECT 16
Every offence which, before the commencement of the Act 9 George IV C. 31 of
the Imperial Parliament, would have amounted to petit treason shall be deemed
to be murder only, and no greater offence, and shall be punishable
accordingly.
