Construction Industry Long Service Leave Board is established.
(2) The Board is a
body corporate.
(3) The Board has full
juristic capacity to exercise any powers that are by their nature capable of
being exercised by a body corporate.
(4) An apparently
genuine document that appears to bear the common seal of the Board and to be
signed by the presiding officer and the chief executive officer of the Board,
or by any two of its members, will be taken, in any legal proceedings, in the
absence of proof to the contrary, to be duly executed by the Board.
(5) The Board is
subject to direction by the Minister.
(6) A direction given
by the Minister under subsection (5) must be in writing.
(7) The Board must
cause a direction given by the Minister to be published in its next annual
report.
