South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A quorum of the
Council consists of three members.
(2) The member
appointed to chair the Council will preside at meetings of the Council at
which that member is present.
(3) If the member
appointed to chair the Council is absent from a meeting of the Council, a
member chosen by the members present at the meeting will preside at the
meeting.
(4) A decision carried
by a majority of the votes cast by members at a meeting is a decision of the
Council.
(5) Each member
present at a meeting of the Council has one vote on any question arising for
decision and, if the votes are equal, the member presiding at the meeting may
exercise a casting vote.
(6) The Council must
have accurate minutes kept of its proceedings and make them available to all
members and the Minister.
(7) Subject to this
section, the Council may determine its own procedures.
