South Australian Consolidated ActsA person must not divulge information about a person obtained (whether by the
person divulging the information or by some other person) in the course of the
administration of this Act, except—
(a)
where the information is publicly known; or
(b) as
required or authorised by this Act or any other Act or law; or
(c) as
reasonably required in connection with the administration of this Act or any
other Act; or
(d) for
the purposes of legal proceedings arising out of the administration of this
Act; or
(e) to a
government agency or instrumentality of this State, the Commonwealth or
another State or a Territory of the Commonwealth for the purposes of the
proper performance of its functions; or
(f) with
the consent of the person to whom the information relates.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
