South Australian Consolidated Acts47—Prevention of membership of both Commonwealth and State Parliaments
(1) No member of
either House of the Parliament of the Commonwealth shall be a member of either
House of the Parliament of the State.
(2) If any member of
either House of the Parliament of the State is elected a member of either
House of the Parliament of the Commonwealth the member shall vacate his or her
seat in the Parliament of the State on taking his or her seat in the
Parliament of the Commonwealth.
