partnerships
(1) Despite any other
provision of this Act, a limited partner of a limited partnership or
incorporated limited partnership is not to be regarded, for the purposes of
this Act, as carrying on the business of the partnership and is not a
proprietor of a business name registered in relation to the partnership.
(2) If a business name
is registered under this Act in relation to a limited partnership or
incorporated limited partnership, the Commission must note that fact in the
register.
(3) In this
section—
"incorporated limited partnership" means an incorporated limited partnership
within the meaning of the Partnership Act 1891 ;
"limited partner" means a limited partner within the meaning of the
Partnership Act 1891 ;
"limited partnership" means a limited partnership within the meaning of the
Partnership Act 1891 .
