ANIMAL WELFARE ACT 1985 - SECT 34
(1) A person must not
conduct a rodeo without a permit under this section.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
(2) An application for
a permit—
(a) must
be made to the Minister; and
(b) must
be made in the prescribed manner and in a form approved by the Minister; and
(c) must
be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(3) The term for which
a permit is issued under this section and the conditions (if any) on which the
permit is granted must be specified in the permit.
(4) A person who
contravenes or fails to comply with a condition of a permit under this section
is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
