(1) Subject to
subsection (2), this Division does not derogate from the provisions of
the Mining Act 1971 .
(2) Notwithstanding
the provisions of the Mining Act 1971 , the consent of A n angu
Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara is not required to the pegging out of a
precious stones claim on the Mintabie precious stones field.
