ASSOCIATIONS INCORPORATION ACT 1985 - SECT 39D
(1) A member of an
incorporated association may apply to the District Court for an order
authorising an inspection of the association's books on behalf of the member
by a person authorised under this Act to audit the accounts of a
prescribed association or a legal practitioner.
(2) If the Court is
satisfied that—
(a) the
member is acting in good faith; and
(b) the
inspection is for a proper purpose,
the Court may make an order authorising a person authorised under this Act to
audit the accounts of a prescribed association or a legal practitioner, at a
time specified in the order, to inspect and make copies of or take extracts
from the association's books.
(3) The Court may, on
an application under this section, make such further or other orders as it
thinks fit, including an order for costs.
