South Australian Consolidated Acts27—Provisions as to limitation of time
(1) The time
prescribed or allowed by any Act for any proceeding, or for the doing of any
thing, or for suffering any thing, will be taken not to include the day of the
act or event from or after which the time is to be calculated, but to include
the day on which the proceeding is to be taken or the thing is to be done or
suffered.
(2) If the time so
prescribed or allowed falls or expires on a Saturday or Sunday, or on any
public holiday, the time will be extended so as to fall or expire on the day
next following the Saturday, Sunday or public holiday that is not itself a
Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.
(3) Where no time is
prescribed or allowed within which any thing must be done, the thing must be
done with all convenient speed and as often as the prescribed occasion arises.
