South Australian Consolidated Acts14A—Application and interpretation
(1) The provisions of
this Part apply both to Acts and statutory instruments.
(2) For the purposes
of the application of this Part to statutory instruments—
(a) a
reference to an Act or an enactment extends to a statutory instrument; and
(b) a
reference to the passing of an Act extends to the making of a
statutory instrument; and
(c) a
reference to the repeal of an Act extends to the revocation of a
statutory instrument; and
(d) a
reference in section 16
to the repeal of an Act extends to the disallowance of a statutory instrument.
(3) In this Part, a
reference to a section extends to a clause of an Act and a regulation, rule
and by-law and a clause of a statutory instrument.
