ADOPTION ACT 1988 - SECT 33

33—False or misleading statements

A person must not make a statement knowing it to be false or misleading in a material respect for the purposes of, or in connection with, a proposed adoption under this Act.

Maximum penalty: $5 000 or one years imprisonment.
