(1) Costs of a proceeding may include costs incurred in
procuring evidence and the attendance of witnesses.
(2) For subrule (1) , the
attendance of a witness includes an attendance at any necessary conference
with counsel before the trial or hearing and, if the witness is an expert,
qualifying to give evidence as an expert.
