(1) The simplified procedures apply
to minor claims.
(2) Also, if the parties to a claim that is not a minor
claim—
(a) agree in writing to all or part of the simplified procedures
applying to the claim; and
(b) file the agreement;
the simplified procedures
apply to the claim to the extent agreed.
(3) However, subrule (2) does not
apply to a claim for a debt or liquidated demand mentioned in the QCAT Act ,
schedule 3 , definition minor civil dispute , paragraph 1(a).
