UNIFORM CIVIL PROCEDURE RULES 1999 - SECT 19

(1) The plaintiff or applicant, or the person's solicitor, must sign the originating process.

(2) For a minor debt claim--

(a) the claim may be signed by an agent; and

(b) if the registrar requires, the agent's authority must be filed.
