Queensland Consolidated Regulations Queensland Consolidated Regulations(1) The Queensland Police Service, including an officer of another State's police service who is carrying out official duties in Queensland for the Queensland Police Service, is exempt from part 4, divisions 2, 7 and 8 of the Act.
(2) An inspector is exempt from part 4, divisions 2 and 6 to 8 of the Act.
(3) However, the exemptions in subsections (1) and (2) do not apply to an officer or inspector who is not acting in the course of the officer's or inspector's official duties.
