If a court sentencing a child for an offence considers—
(a) that it is appropriate to make both of the orders that the child pay—(i) an amount by way of compensation or restitution; and(ii) an amount by way of fine; and
(b) that the child has insufficient resources to pay both amounts;the court must give preference to ordering the child to pay only the compensation or restitution amount.
