Notice of proposal to prepare draft plan
42 Notice of proposal to prepare draft plan
(1) The authority must give public notice that the authority proposes to
prepare a draft management plan.
(2) The notice must—
(a) be published
in—
(i) a newspaper circulating throughout Queensland; and
(ii) such other
newspapers as the authority determines; and
(b) specify the area concerned;
and
(c) invite submissions from government departments, public authorities,
land-holders, local authorities, Aboriginal people particularly concerned with
land in the area, interested groups and persons and members of the public; and
(d) specify a day (not earlier than 40 days from the publication of the notice
in the newspaper mentioned in paragraph (a) (i) ) by which submissions may be
made to the authority.
