Executive director’s duties
24 Executive director’s duties
(1) The executive director is, under the board, to manage the authority.
(2)
Anything done in the name of, or on behalf of, the authority by the executive
director is taken to have been done by the authority.
(3) The executive
director may, subject to section 31(Disclosure of interests by directors),
take part in any of the board’s deliberations but has no voting rights at a
meeting of the board.
