An accredited product stewardship scheme has no effect to the extent it is inconsistent with any law of the State or the Commonwealth.
Example—A provision of a voluntary product stewardship scheme for a product would have no effect to the extent it purported to require a participant in the scheme to deal with the product in a way prohibited under the Environmental Protection Act .
