263 Delegation by chief executive
(1) The chief executive may delegate the chief executive’s powers under this
Act as the chief executive to— (a) an appropriately qualified— (i)
authorised person; or
(ii) public service officer; or
(b) a local
government.
(2) A delegation of a chief executive’s power to a local
government may permit the subdelegation of the power to an appropriately
qualified entity.
