Existing applications and requests made to former entity
691 Existing applications and requests made to former entity
(1) This
section applies to an application or request to a former entity under this Act
made, but not decided, before the commencement.
(2) The application or
request is taken to have been made to the Regulator and must be dealt with by
the Regulator under this Act, including as provided for in this chapter.
(3)
For the purpose of working out any time period relevant to dealing with the
application or request—
(a) the application or request is taken to have been
made to the Regulator when it was made to the former entity; and
(b) anything
done by a former entity in relation to the application is taken to have been
done by the Regulator when the former entity did the thing.
(4) Anything done
by or in relation to the former entity in relation to the application or
request is taken to have been done by or in relation to the Regulator.
(5)
If, because of the operation of section 680, the pre-amended Act applies in
relation to an application or request, the pre-amended Act applies—
(a) as
if a reference to a former entity was a reference to the Regulator; and
