(1) The
"excess period" , in relation to a worker who sustains an injury for which
compensation is payable, is the period that starts on the day that the
worker’s entitlement to compensation arises under chapter 3 , part 7 .
(2)
The
"excess period" ends at the end of the day that the amount of weekly
compensation paid to the worker exceeds an amount prescribed under a
regulation.
