Appointment of chairperson and deputy chairperson
425 Appointment of chairperson and deputy chairperson
(1) The Governor in
Council may appoint a director to be the board’s chairperson and another
director to be the board’s deputy chairperson.
(2) The deputy chairperson
is to act as chairperson— (a) during a vacancy in the office of chairperson;
and
(b) during all periods when the chairperson is absent from duty or is,
for another reason, unable to perform the functions of the office.
