Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) WorkCover may enter into a contract of insurance for this subdivision with a local government, statutory body, industrial union of employees or employers or an association of employers or a similar body of a public nature (public body).
(2) The contract may cover a councillor, member, delegate or similar person of the public body (member).
(3) A person covered by the contract is entitled to compensation for injury sustained only while attending meetings of the public body or performing any other duty of office as a member.
