(1) A worker’s
"usual employment" is the worker’s permanent position or classification of
employment.
(2) However, if a worker is temporarily appointed to another
position or classification for a period, the worker’s

temporary position or classification.
A worker is acting in higher duties for 3 months. The
worker is incapacitated after 1 month. The worker would be entitled to the
higher duties wage rate for the remaining 2 months. When that 2 months ends,
the worker would be entitled to the wage rate of the worker’s permanent
position or classification.
