956 Effect of administrator operating infrastructure
(1) If the administrator is authorised under section 955to operate
infrastructure, the infrastructure may be operated by the administrator or
another person (the
"operator" ) appointed by the administrator.
(2) The administrator and
operator may do all things necessary or convenient to ensure the effective
operation of the infrastructure.
(3) A person in possession of premises on
which the infrastructure operates must give the administrator and operator
access to the premises to enable operation of the infrastructure.
Penalty—
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
(4) A person in
possession of premises must not take action, or refuse to take action, if the
taking or refusal, has the effect of preventing or hindering the administrator
or operator from operating the infrastructure.

penalty—1,665 penalty units.
(5) Subsections (3) and (4) do not apply to
an act done, or omission made, during or relating to industrial action as
defined under the Industrial Relations Act 2016.
(6) The former holder of
the resource operations licence or interim resource operations licence is
liable for the administrator’s reasonable costs of—
(a) operating the
infrastructure; and
(b) repairing, replacing or improving the infrastructure.
(7) The administrator must pay to the former holder any income received by the
administrator from operating the infrastructure less all costs mentioned in
subsection (6) .
