598 Role of board
(1) The board of a water authority is responsible for the way in which the
authority performs its functions and exercises its powers.
(2) Without
limiting subsection (1) , it is the board’s role— (a) to decide the
objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by the authority; and
(b)
to ensure the authority performs its functions in a proper, effective and
efficient way.
