1248 References to particular provisions of this Act
(1) A reference in another Act or a document to a particular provision of the
Act , chapter 8 , part 2 as in force immediately before the commencement of
section 301 of the amending Act (the
"replaced provision" ) may, if the context permits, be taken as a reference to
any provision of this Act, chapter 8, part 2 all or part of which corresponds,
or substantially corresponds, to the replaced provision.
Example—
A
reference in another Act to section 966A omitted and remade under the
amending Act, part 19 is taken to be a reference to section 972 (Operational
work) of this Act.
(2) To remove any doubt, it is declared that for the
Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 14H , the Act , chapter 8 , part 2 as
omitted and remade under the amending Act, part 19 is a remake of the Act ,
chapter 8 , part 2 as in force immediately before the commencement of section
301 of the amending Act.
(3) In this section—
"amending Act" means the Land, Water and Other Legislation Act 2013 .
