In this division—
"commencement" means the commencement of the provision in which the word
appears.
"destruction activity" means the destruction of vegetation in a watercourse,
lake or spring, other than as a necessary and unavoidable part of excavation
or placing of fill authorised under a permit issued under section 269(1).
"destruction permit" see section 1245(1).
