Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The chief executive may upon application, payment of the prescribed fee and upon being satisfied as to the identity of the applicant for the permit issue a permit that authorises the holder thereof to tow motor vehicles by means of the tow truck specified therein pending the determination of an application for a licence.
(2) A permit issued pursuant to subsection (1)--
(a) shall, subject to this Act, be in force for such period not exceeding 6 months as the chief executive determines; and
(b) may be revoked by the chief executive at any time; and
(c) may be issued subject to all or any of the conditions to which a licence may be subject and to such other conditions as are specified in the permit.
