TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER CULTURAL HERITAGE ACT 2003 - SECT 22

22 Care of Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage

(1) The Queensland Museum may act under the Queensland Museum Act 1970 in relation to all Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage in its custody.

(2) Subsection (1) applies subject to the particular requirements of this Act about the ownership, custody or protection of Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage.

(3) The Queensland Museum may at any time accept custody of Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage.
