121 Appointment and qualifications
(1) The chief executive may appoint a public service employee as an authorised
officer.
(2) However, the chief executive may appoint a person as an
authorised officer only if the chief executive is satisfied the person is
qualified for appointment because the person has the necessary expertise or
experience.
