Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A person in charge of a tobacco product vending machine in licensed premises must not allow a child to obtain a tobacco product from the vending machine.
Maximum penalty--
(a) for a first offence--70 penalty units; and
(b) for a second or later offence--140 penalty units.
(2) However, the person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if, before the child obtained the tobacco product, the person had taken the prevention measures.
