51 Compliance with directions
(1) This section applies if a distributor-retailer is given a group direction
or an individual direction.
(2) The board must take reasonable steps to
ensure the direction is complied with unless it is unlawful to do so, or
complying with the direction in the way directed would constitute an offence
against this Act or another Act.
(3) Regard must be had to the direction in
deciding, for this Act or any other relevant law, whether or not a board
member has exercised an appropriate degree of care and diligence in
discharging the member’s duties.
