52 Default after time to pay
(1) This section applies if an enforcement debtor—
(a) fails to pay an
amount stated in an enforcement order within 28 days after the date of the
order; or
(b) fails to pay an amount stated in an instalment payment notice
issued under section 42in accordance with the notice.
(2) The registrar may
issue an enforcement warrant, a fine collection notice or an arrest and
imprisonment warrant for the enforcement debtor for the balance of the unpaid
amount stated in the enforcement order or instalment payment notice.
(3)
Also, if the failure relates to an instalment payment notice, the registrar
may cancel the instalment payment notice without notice to the enforcement
debtor.
(4) If the registrar decides to issue an arrest and imprisonment
warrant, the warrant must be for the arrest and imprisonment of the
enforcement debtor for the period stated in the warrant worked out for the
unpaid amount under section 52A.
