Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The procedure for an appeal to a Magistrates Court under this Act is to be in accordance with the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 or, in the absence of relevant rules, directions of the Court.
(2) An appeal is to be by way of rehearing unaffected by the chief executive's decision.
(3) In deciding an appeal, the Court is not bound by the rules of evidence and must observe natural justice.
