75 Power of bailiffs
(1) A bailiff is an officer of the sheriff.
(2) A bailiff is appointed for
the State.
(3) The sheriff, or a deputy sheriff, may delegate any of the
sheriff’s functions, or deputy sheriff’s functions, to a bailiff.
(4)
Subject to the terms of the delegation, a bailiff may perform a function
throughout the State.
(5) In this section—
"functions" includes powers.
"perform" , a function, includes exercise a power.
