(1) This section applies if a request under section 170Gis made about a
candidate water supply activity, other than by the water supplier carrying on
the activity.
(2) The authority must—
(a) tell the water supplier carrying
on the activity that the authority has received the request; and
(b) if the
request is later withdrawn or amended—immediately tell the water supplier of
the withdrawal or give details of the amendment to the water supplier.
